PAN recently held a webinar with Nonprofit VOTE on engaging candidates during this election season. The presentation is now available on our website.
In addition to the webinar, PAN has created a resources page that includes materials and tips on how you, as a PAN volunteer, can remain nonpartisan and engage with candidates running in local elections without violating PAN’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
PAN has also partnered with Research!America on its “Ask Your Candidates!” initiative, which encourages people to ask their congressional candidates to share their positions on medical innovation and research through online and grassroots activities, social media strategies, and on-the-ground events.
Access all these resources on the PAN website, here. If you have any specific questions about engaging candidates, please contact Jamie Tucker, senior government relations manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you haven’t already, you might also want to check out our August Recess Toolkit to get tips and materials to help you engage with Members of Congress this month.
