Please join the Parkinson’s community for the Parkinson’s Day of Action on Wednesday, March 2 during the 2016 PAN Forum.
On that day, more than 200 advocates from across the country will be on Capitol Hill meeting with their Members of Congress to talk about Parkinson’s disease and several key policy priorities – but you don’t have to be in Washington, DC to be part of the conversation.
You can show your support and participate from home by contacting your Members of Congress on Wednesday, March 2 between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET. We’ll be showing our support in force for the Advancing Research for Neurological Diseases Act (S.849/H.R. 292), which would create a national data registry for Parkinson’s and other neurological diseases at the Centers for Disease Control.
Please encourage your friends, family, support groups, and community to participate in the Parkinson’s Day of Action next week. It’s one quick, simple way to show your support for the Parkinson’s community and help advocate for a better understanding of Parkinson’s and the other neurological diseases that affect millions of Americans.
Together, our collective voice will make a difference! Thank you in advance for joining us in standing up for this important legislation.
