The Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s is calling for Letters of Intent from researchers and program directors for two research funding tracks. The Foundation will commit up to $110,000 for research and/or program costs, and up to an additional $28,000 for research specifically in Colorado and/or program costs in Colorado.
Davis Phinney research investments tend to fall into two areas:
- Programs that can have an immediate impact in the lives of people with Parkinson’s today, and
- Research that explores a range of factors that affect quality of life, such as research related to movement, DBS, speech, and telemedicine.
The deadline is March 21, 2014.
In past years, the Foundation partnered with the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation to co-fund a two-year study to provided data on the progression of disability in Parkinson’s disease. Learn more about the study here.
